In common with other churchyards, some graves are marked with horizontal stones on pedestals, in "table" fashion.
Both pictures are of the same stones. Left, is looking east along the row and, right, looking west. The examples above are quite typical, showing, again, trades or professions of those buried.
As with other kirkyards, those interred here must have been quite important and wealthy people to be buried so close to the church wall.
