Session House Shop, Glamis

Session House Shop Outside The Session House was built a short distance from the front door of St. Fergus Church, Glamis in 1838 at the request of the Reverend Dr. James Lyon who died in April of the same year.

Today the building, staffed by volunteers, is used to sell various items, such as postcards, books, greeting cards, CDs, jewellery and craftwork to help support a Celtic Christian "presence" in this beautiful and historical part of the County of Angus in Scotland.

The Heritage Trail, developed during the Reverend Andrew T. Greaves ministry, has, in the past, helped people on their "Spiritual Journey" and will continue to do so for this community as with those who are "just passing through".

Session House Shop Inside Booklets about the Heritage Trail are available in the shop detailing, with a short note about each, the main points along the way.

What will hold for the Christian Church in Glamis, Inverarity, Kinnettles in this the twenty first century, clearly only time will tell.

All people are on a "journey" and with this in mind, leave us, but, meet us in the future with this blessing,

May God bless you and yours
May He bless your house
May His Holy Spirit guide you always
While you walk the Celtic Path
With Christ's Light in the coming days
